Saturday, June 6, 2009: BASEBALL
It's on to Omaha and the College World Series for the Cal State Fullerton Titans! The Titans dispatched Louisville on Saturday, June 6 by a score of 11-2, running their post-season record to 5-0 while winning by an average score of 13-2. Cal State Fullerton will open their 16th trip to the College World Series against Arkansas in Omaha, Nebraska. The College World Series is scheduled for June 13-24, 2009.

The Cal State Fullerton Titans dispatched Louisville in Game 1 of their NCAA Regional Series, 12-0 on Friday, June 5, putting them just one game away from a trip to the College World Series. The NCAA Super Regionals are coming to Fullerton this weekend, as the Cal State Fullerton Titans get set to take on the Louisville Cardinals for a trip to the College World Series. Coach Dave Serrano, sophomore sensation Christian Colon and freshman phenom Noe Ramirez participated in a conference call with the press, now available on BigWest.TV (audio only). The NCAA Super Regionals are set for Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7. The series between Cal State Fullerton and Louisville kicks off on Friday at 7:30 p.m. PT at Goodwin Field and will also be televised on ESPN2. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (ESPN), while Game 3, if necessary, will take place on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. (ESPN2). For more information, head to Tournament Central here.
