Fire in Santa Barbara Area Forces Site Changes for Baseball and Softball 5/8/2009

Due to the serious fire in the Santa Barbara area, the UC Santa Barbara home contests in baseball and softball are being moved to alternate locations due to poor air quality.

The baseball series between Long Beach State and UCSB is being moved to Cal State Fullerton's Goodwin Field, where the clubs will play a doubleheader Saturday starting at 2 pm and a single game Sunday beginning at 1 pm.

The softball series between Cal State Fullerton and UCSB will now be played at Bob Janssen Field on the campus of Cal Poly, where the scheduled doubleheader between the schools will start at 3:30 pm today, with the series finale to take place Saturday at 1 pm.
