Cal Poly's Ramses Barden Selected in Third Round of NFL Draft

Ramses Barden became the third player in Cal Poly history to be drafted in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft on Saturday, April 25.

Cal Poly senior wide receiver Ramses Barden was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft on Sunday by the New York Giants.  Barden was the 85th selection in the draft. 

Barden was a FCS All-American during his senior campaign, catching 67 passes for 1,257 yards and 18 touchdowns.  Barden is in the NCAA record book with 50 career scoring touchdowns, 13th all time, and holds the record for most consecutive games with a touchdown catch (20).

Barden is the third Cal Poly player in history to be drafted in the third round of the NFL Draft.
