***UPDATED Friday, April 17, 2009*** Due to an error in scheduling the No. 18 Cal Poly-UC Davis series was inadvertently left off the BigWest.TV schedule.  Games 2 and 3 of the series will air on Saturday, April 18 (6:00 pm PT) and Sunday, April 19 (1:00 pm).

In better news, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos will make their 2009 BigWest.TV debut when they host the San Jose State Spartans on Saturday and Sunday.  The Gauchos and Spartans will face off at 1:00 pm on both days.

The schedule is light this week on BigWest.TV, with just five events airing live in baseball and softball.  Following the third week of conference play, the No. 5 UC Irvine Anteaters (22-9 overall, 8-1 in conference) have a three-game lead atop the Big West baseball standings.  The Big West softball standings have two new teams at the top, with the No. 25 Cal Poly Mustangs (28-9, 7-2) and Cal State Fullerton Titans (19-17, 7-2) leaping to the front of the pack over the weekend.

Baseball

On Monday, April 13 the nationally-ranked UC Irvine Anteaters will host Loyola Marymount for a non-conference contest.  The Anteaters swept Long Beach State (2-4 in conference, T-6th) over the weekend to maintain their grip on the Big West lead.  UCI and LMU see their first pitch at 6:00 p.m. PT.

No. 6 Cal State Fullerton (5-4, T-2nd) hosts Pacific (5-4, T-2nd) this weekend beginning on Friday, April 17.  The Titans took 2 of 3 from Cal State Northridge (3-6, 8th) last weekend, while the Tigers managed just one win against Cal Poly (5-4, T-2nd).  First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Goodwin Field.

The Titans and Tigers will close their series out on Sunday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m.

***NOTE: Game 2 of the Cal State Fullerton-Pacific series on Saturday, April 18 will not be shown on BigWest.TV due to conflicts with Cal State Fullerton softball.***

Softball

The league-leading Cal State Fullerton Titans and Pacific Tigers (1-8, 8th) will play the only two softball games this week on BigWest.TV.  The Titans and Tigers will clash in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 18 at Anderson Family Field.  Cal State Fullerton moved into a tie for first place over the weekend with a series sweep at UC Davis (4-5, T-5th) while Pacific won their first conference game at UC Riverside (4-5, T-5th).  Game 1 of the doubleheader is scheduled for 12:00 noon, with Game 2 following shortly thereafter.
