Twelve events are set to air live on BigWest.TV this week, beginning on Tuesday, April 7.

Twelve baseball and softball games are set to air this week on BigWest.TV.  Following the second weekend of conference play UC Irvine (19-8, 5-1) stands alone atop the baseball standings while the Long Beach State (24-14, 5-1) leads the softball race.

Baseball

Three non-conference contests are scheduled for Tuesday, April 7 beginning at 5:35 p.m. PT with the Pacific Tigers hosting the University of San Francisco.  The Tigers (4-2 in conference) are in second place in the Big West, one game behind league-leading UC Irvine.  At 6:00 p.m., Cal Poly (3-3, T-4th) welcomes Saint Mary’s while Cal State Fullerton (3-3, T-4th) faces off against Loyola Marymount.

Teams will begin conference play on Thursday, April 9 to accommodate the Easter weekend.  Pacific and UC Irvine will host weekend series against Cal Poly and Long Beach State, respectively.  Game 1 of the Tigers-Mustangs series is set to begin at 5:35 p.m., while the ‘Eaters and the Dirtbags (2-1, 3rd) get started at 6:00 p.m.

Game 2 of each series will take place on Friday, April 10 at the same times as their Thursday match-ups, with Pacific-Cal Poly at 5:35 p.m. and UC Irvine-Long Beach State at 6:00 p.m.  The closing games of each series will both take place on Saturday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m.

Softball

Cal Poly (4-2, T-2nd) will host league-leading Long Beach State for a three-game set beginning on Friday, April 10.  The Mustangs and 49ers will play a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday.  They will close out their series on Saturday, April 11, also beginning at 12:00 p.m.
