Earlier during the day, a run-scoring single from Cahn and junior first baseman Krysten Cary’s team-leading sixth homer of the season broke an early stalemate as the Mustangs dealt Indiana a 4-2 defeat at South Field.

Travel Constraints Lead The Tigers To A 7-7 Tie Against Texas Tech
Delayed prior to the start of the contest due to rain, the Tigers and the Texas Tech Red Raiders did not have enough time to finish their final game of the Cox Invitational on Sunday, March 1, ending the game in a 7-7 tie after the completion of the ninth inning due to travel constraints. Due to the tie game, Pacific moved to 6-7-1 on the season while the Red Raiders moved to 4-14-1.

UC Davis Concludes San Diego Classic I
UC Davis closed out the San Diego Classic I Sunday and was shut out by Oregon and Colorado State by identical 3-0 scores. The Aggies finished the tournament 2-2 after posting a pair of their own shutouts on Saturday. Belinda Paine collected four of the Aggies' 10 hits on Sunday. The losses dropped UC Davis to 10-5.
