Single session tickets for the 2009 Big West Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament are on sale today, Tuesday, February 24.  All seats have been opened to the general public except those located in the individual schools' sections.  Fans can purchase tickets through the Anaheim Convention Center Arena Box Office (714-765-8980) or through the Ticketmaster website.  Fans can also purchase All-Session tickets, student tickets and first game vouchers through each school’s individual box office.  The tournament will be held Wednesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 14 at The Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center.
    Tickets for the event range from $20-$25 general admission seats for the women’s tournament games and $25-$35 for general admission and reserved seating for the men’s tournament games.  Youth tickets to any session are $10 with a valid student I.D. or when accompanied by an adult.  Big West students can purchase a ticket to any session for $8 with a valid student I.D.
    Break the Basketball Attendance Record Night is Friday, March 13 during the men’s semifinal session.  The Big West is attempting to break the Anaheim Convention Center Arena’s current basketball attendance record of 7,578 set on January 22, 1986 during a Harlem Globetrotters game.      Group tickets are also available for that game at $20 per person.
    This is the ninth consecutive year that the Big West Basketball Tournament will be held at the Anaheim arena.
