The UC Santa Barbara softball team (9-6) split its final two games at the Cathedral City Classic on Sunday afternoon at the Big League Dreams Park. The Gauchos knocked off No. 17 Nevada (7-7) by way of a 6-4 score before falling to Ohio State (12-3), 5-3. The Gauchos finished the weekend with a 4-2 tournament record.

Mustangs Split Sunday Schedule at Cathedral City Classic

Sophomore lefthander Anna Cahn limited Kansas to three hits and struck out a career-high 10 batters to propel the Cal Poly softball team to a 3-1 victory against the Jayhawks Sunday at the Oregon State-hosted Cathedral City Classic. The Mustangs, however, yielded all of UNLV's runs during the initial two innings and dropped an 8-2 decision to the Rebels later in the afternoon at the Big League Dreams Sports Park.

LBSU Rallies to 4-1 Victory Over Colorado State in USD Tournament Finale

The Long Beach State softball team (7-7) rallied in the seventh inning to pull out a 4-1 victory over Colorado State in the finale of the University of San Diego Tournament Sunday afternoon.

Highlanders Bested 3-0 by East Carolina and 13-2 Against Florida State

After falling in both games yesterday afternoon to begin the Seminole Classic, the UC Riverside softball team looked to pick things up on Sunday on day two of the tournament, but fell to East Carolina 3-0 and Florida State 13-2 at JoAnne Graf Field.
