Highlanders Pick Up 79-69 Non-Conference Win Against CSUB
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team (14-9) extended their win streak to nine consecutive games with a 79-69 victory against Cal State Bakersfield (15-9) on Wednesday evening in a non-conference match up at the Student Recreation Center in Riverside. Senior forward Ronéy Friend scored 16 points as she became just the 12th player in UCR women’s basketball history to reach the 1,000-point barrier.
