The 6-3 guard posted 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and a steal in 32 minutes as the 49ers recorded the 76-71 victory at the Walter Pyramid, snapping a four-game losing streak in the process.  The Owls had defeated nationally ranked Tennessee just nine days prior to squaring off against the 49ers.

Morris hit 7 of 13 shots from the field and 7 of 8 at the free throw line.  He just missed his third career double-double while leading the team in points, rebounds and assists.

This is the fifth career Player of the Week award for Morris, which ties him for eighth all-time in Big West history.
