The schedule on BigWest.TV is light this week as teams take some time to allow their players to prep for finals. The men dominate the schedule this week, with five games on the schedule while Cal State Fullerton will be the lone women’s team on the board.
Men’s Basketball
Action begins on Tuesday, December 9 with two games on tap: Pacific hosts San Francisco at 7:00 p.m. PT and Cal State Northridge welcomes
Denver to the Matadome beginning at 7:05 p.m. The Tigers conclude a three-game homestand against the Dons and are trying to bounce back from a last-second defeat at the hands of the Fresno State Bulldogs on December 6. The Matadors last played at home on November 14, having played their last six on the road.
Men’s hoops returns to BigWest.TV on Saturday, December 13 with two more contests. Cal State Fullerton takes on Cal State Bakersfield at 6:05 p.m., and UC Santa Barbara squares off against Loyola Marymount. This will be the Titans’ second home Saturday game in a row, having defeated
Central Michigan 79-65 on December 6. The Gauchos will be returning to the court after nine days off and will have last played on December 4, a win at Utah Valley.
Cal Poly ends the week with a home contest on Sunday, December 14 against
Seattle
University . It will be the Mustangs’ first game in eleven days as they take their finals. In their December 3 contest against
San Francisco , the Mustangs dominated the Dons, 61-40.
Women’s Basketball
The Cal State Fullerton women are the lone team at home this week, taking on Pepperdine on Friday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. In their last home contest on December 4, the Titans fell to Vanderbilt despite playing the nationally-ranked Commodores close for most of the game.
