On Saturday, December 6 the No. 24 Long Beach State women’s volleyball team will face No. 2 Stanford in the second round of the 2008 NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament. The 49ers (26-5) advanced to face the Cardinal (27-3)  by virtue of their 3-1 victory over No. 23 Pepperdine on Friday night.  As with the first-round matches, fans can catch all the action live and free of charge thanks to CBS College Sports and the Stanford Cardinal.

The second-round match at Maples Pavilion will be broadcast live on the Internet via the CBS College Sports NCAA All-Access site, a channel on the CBS All-Access network similar to BigWest.TV. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. PT.  In addition to live streaming video, fans will also be able to follow along via CBS College Sports GameTracker application.
