Ten broadcasts across three sports will air on BigWest.TV this week. Women’s volleyball wraps up the final week of regular-season while men’s and women’s basketball continue their non-conference schedules. Remember that men’s and women’s basketball games air FREE OF CHARGE for one more week.
The final women’s volleyball matches of the year will feature the 2008 Big West champion Long Beach State 49ers and the Pacific Tigers. On Friday, November 28, Pacific will host the 30th Annual Bankers Classic in
Stockton , taking on the Portland Pilots at 7:00 p.m. PT. The Tigers will then face either Utah or
Nevada on Saturday, November 29 at a time to be determined.
Following on the heels of their first outright Big West title since 2001, the
State 49ers will face a dangerous
State team on Saturday, November 29. The 49ers will then head to the NCAA Tournament, having secured the Big West’s automatic berth by virtue of their conference championship. First serve on Saturday is set for 7:00 p.m.
Two men’s basketball games are on the BigWest.TV schedule this week, beginning on Tuesday, November 25 when UC Riverside hosts Occidental. The Highlanders are 2-1 on the young season, having won at home against
Northern Arizona last week. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The second men’s basketball game on the schedule will cap off the BigWest.TV week on Sunday, November 30.
State will take on
State at The Walter Pyramid where the 49ers came from behind to defeat Weber State, 73-69 on November 22. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
Five women’s basketball games are on tap this week, beginning on Tuesday, November 25. First up, the UC Irvine Anteaters will host Cal State Bakersfield at the
Center at 5:00 p.m. The ‘Eaters will be playing their first game in 9 days following their 1-1 start. At 7:00 p.m., UC Davis will take on NorCal rival
San Francisco at the Pavilion. The Aggies are also 1-1 on the year and will be playing their first game at home this season.
On Wednesday, November 26, the 2-1 Cal Poly Mustangs will host UCLA at Mot t Gym. This will also be Cal Poly’s home opener after having played three games on the road to start the season. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
Friday, November 28, the Mustangs will open the three-day Courtyard by Marriott San Luis Obispo Holiday Beach Classic. Cal Poly will broadcast all four games of the Classic, starting with the host Mustangs taking on
City at 2:00 p.m.
The Holiday Beach Classic continues on Saturday, November 29 with
City facing off against Cal State Bakersfield at 1:00 p.m., followed by the Mustangs and
Idaho at approximately 3:00 p.m. The concluding game of the Classic will take place on Sunday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. between
Idaho and Cal State Bakersfield.
