Long Beach State Leads Commissioner's Cup Race 11/24/2008

Long Beach State holds the early lead in the 2008-09 Big West Conference Commissioner's Cup race after the conclusion of conference play during the fall sports season. The 49ers won two titles this fall, one in Women's Soccer and another in Women's Volleyball.

Cal Poly rests in second place after winning the Men’s Cross Country title, tying for second in the Men’s Soccer standings, and placing third in the Women’s Soccer and Women’s Volleyball final standings.

UC Irvine is not far back in third place after claiming its first Men’s Soccer regular season title and finishing in second place in Women’s Cross Country and Women’s Volleyball.
