A busy week on BigWest.TV includes match-ups between surprising league leaders, conference tournament finalists, and defending and hopeful league champions. Live action begins Tuesday, September 30 with two 7:00 p.m. PT broadcasts. In women’s soccer action, Cal State Fullerton will host
Hawai’i in their final non-conference match up at Titan Stadium. In women’s volleyball action, Cal State Northridge will take on Cal State Bakersfield in a non-conference contest at the Matadome.
Friday, October 3 starts with a rematch of the 2007 Big West Conference Women’s Soccer Championship when Cal State Fullerton hosts Cal Poly. Last November at Titan Stadium, the Titans and Mustangs clashed in an epic match that ended with
Fullerton claiming their third-straight conference tournament championship on penalty kicks. The Mustangs return to payback the Titans beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Also on Friday, the second week of women’s volleyball conference play begins with four matches. In a match-up of surprise 2-0 teams, UC Santa Barbara battles Pacific in the Thunderdome at 7:00 p.m., while No. 25 Cal Poly hosts UC Davis and UC Irvine faces Cal State Northridge. UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton wrap up the night beginning at 7:30 p.m. from
Riverside .
Men’s soccer makes its return to BigWest.TV on Saturday, October 4 when Cal State Fullerton meets Houston Baptist in a non-conference tilt scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Women’s volleyball continues with four more matches Saturday night, with Cal Poly hosting Pacific, UC Irvine taking on Cal State Fullerton, UC Riverside facing Cal State Northridge, and UC Santa Barbara squaring off against UC Davis.
Titan women’s soccer wraps up the week on Sunday, October 5 with another big conference game, as the three-time defending Big West Tournament champion Titans host pre-season favorite No. 20 UC Santa Barbara. Match time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
