Big West women’s volleyball begins conference play this week, and from Cal State Fullerton and BigWest.TV correspondent Mike Martinez comes a look at the Titan volleyball program.  Martinez interviews head coach Carolyn Zimmerman about the season to date and the team’s progression through the non-conference schedule.  One of the keys has been emerging sophomore outside hitter/middle blocker Erin Saddler, who also discusses the evolution of her role.

Cal State Fullerton opens conference play on Friday, September 26 at home against pre-season favorite and defending league champion Cal Poly.  The Titans and No. 25 Mustangs square off beginning at 7:00 p.m. PT.  Fullerton will also play host to UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m.  Both matches will be broadcast LIVE on BigWest.TV.
