Women’s volleyball begins non-conference play this week, with
playing the first of two matches on Friday beginning at 12:00 p.m. PST against the
. Ranked second in the Big West Pre-Season Poll, the 49ers will return to action Friday night at 7:00 p.m. to face the Hoosiers of Indiana. Also at 7:00 p.m., the Cal State Fullerton Titans begin their quest for the Big West title at home against Delaware, a squad that made its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance last year.
Three more women’s volleyball matches will air on Saturday, August 30 starting at 1:00 p.m. when Cal State Fullerton matches up against UNC Greensboro. At 7:00 p.m., the Titans host the Pepperdine Waves, while
Women’s soccer will make its 2008 season debut with the first-ever broadcast from Alex G. Spanos Stadium in
San Luis Obispo
. The Cal Poly Mustangs will face
beginning at 7:00 p.m on Friday, August 29. Cal Poly joins Cal State Fullerton in broadcasting women’s soccer this season.
