NCAA Track & Field National Championships Set to Begin In Nation's Heartland

23 Big West athletes will head to Des Moines, Iowa for the 2008 edition of the NCAA Track & Field Championships this weekend. The Championships are being held June 11-14 at Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University in the capital city of Iowa.

The twenty-three athletes are part of a field of 544 student-athletes that qualified for the national meet in one of the four regional championship meets.

The Outdoor Championships will also be televised as CBS Sports Network will air two days of the national meet. Friday night, CBSCSN will broadcast live from Drake Stadium between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (PDT) before CBS Sports hits the air on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. (PDT) for a two-hour show.
