Five Big West schools are in action this week, with four teams hosting various dual meets.

Cal Poly's women's team welcomes the Pepperdine Waves to San Luis Obispo, Calif., for a Saturday matchup. The Mustangs went 1-2 last week against conference foes, UC Davis, Pacific and Cal State Northridge.

UC Davis hosts Denver in a dual meet scheduled for noon at the Schaal Aquatics Center. The men's team enters this weekend's competition with a perfect 6-0 record and the women's squad holds a 4-2 mark in dual meets.

Looking for their first win of the season, the Cal State Northridge Matadors host UNLV at Matador Pool Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11:00 a.m. This marks the second home meet of the season for the Matadors, as the menís team heads into the meet with a 0-2 mark and the women's program stands at 0-3.

The final Big West team hosting a dual matchup this week are the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, who are coming off a sweep over conference foe Cal State Northridge. UC Santa Barbara welcomes the UNLV Rebels to campus pool for a noon start on Saturday. The two teams met back in December at the UNLV Winter Invite. The Gauchos men's team took home first place and the women's team grabbed the second spot.

Returning from a three-week hiatus, UC Irvine is back in action as the Anteaters travel to Cal Baptist to compete in a tri-meet with the Lancers and UC San Diego. The three-team event begins at noon at the Lancer Aquatics Center. UC Irvine's womenís squad is currently ranked seventh in the collegeswimming.com mid-major poll, while the men's team owns the ninth slot.
