Cal Poly Crowned Big West Tournament Champ, Heads To First Big Dance
The Cal Poly women's basketball team will make the program's first-ever trip to the "Big Dance" with a 63-49 win over Pacific in the championship game of the Big West Conference Women's Basketball Tournament. Junior Molly Schlemer, named most valuable player, collected 16 rebounds and scored seven points while fellow all-tournament team member Ariana Elegado paced the Mustangs with 22 points.
