Playing their second game of the new season, the Pacific women's basketball team picked up its first win of 2009-10 with a 67-54 win over Southern Utah on Tuesday, November 17.

Seven of the nine Big West members will venture away from the familiar confines of their home court for women's basketball action this week. Making the farthest trek is UC Riverside, who will face nationally-ranked Vanderbilt Friday, Nov. 20 at 5:00 p.m. (PST).

A tough shooting night was the downfall for the UC Santa Barbara women's basketball team on Monday night at the Lawlor Events Center as the Gauchos lost to Nevada, 59-43, while shooting a mere 26 percent from the floor. The Gauchos missed all 17 of their 3-point attempts.

Megan Richardson led the Titans in scoring this past weekend, helping Cal State Fullerton to its first 2-0 start since the 1996-97 season and earning her Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week accolades, for the week ending Nov. 15.

Sophomore Megan Richardson scored a game-high 16 points while freshman Mya Olivier added 15 points and seven rebounds to lead a quartet of Titans in double figures as Cal State Fullerton handed host Sacramento State a 90-68 defeat on Sunday afternoon in front of 356 fans at the Hornets Nest in Sacramento, Calif.
