The Long Beach State women and Cal Poly men saw their successful seasons come to a close as both lost in the NCAA Tennis Championships on Saturday.

Beach Tennis Defeats No. 33 Arkansas In Opening Round Of NCAA Tournament
No. 46 Long Beach State earned a huge victory for the program, winning in the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history with a convincing 4-0 victory over No. 33 Arkansas Friday morning.

Cal Poly's Dome Garners Program's First Player of the Year Honor Since 1998
Cal Poly junior Andre Dome highlighted the announcement of the 2012 men's tennis all-conference team as the Big West Player of the Year.  UC Santa Barbara's Marty Davis was named Coach of the Year and UC Irvine's Jacob Jung the Freshman of the Year to round out the top awards.

Big West Women's Tennis All-Conference Awards Announced
Long Beach State senior Anais Dallara headlined the 2012 women's tennis all-conference team with her selection as the Big West Player of the Year.  Long Beach State's Jenny Hilt-Costello earned Big West Coach of the Year praise while Iveta Masarova of Pacific earned Freshman of the Year recognition.
