Matadors Win Big West Title with 1-0 Shutout at UC Davis

Behind a first-half goal by Sagi Lev-Ari and flawless defense for the entire match, the Cal State Northridge Matadors (15-6, 7-3 Big West) won their first Big West Conference Tournament Championship, knocking off the host UC Davis Aggies 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Aggie Soccer Field.

Seeding for the tournament is determined by the final regular season conference standings.
The top two teams from each division advance to the tournament with North No. 1 seed hosting South No. 2 and South No. 1 hosting North No. 2. 
The championship game shall be hosted by the highest remaining seed.
