Cal State Northridge 72, Montana 63 Northridge, CA (Sports Network) - Joseph Frazier scored a game-high 15 points
in leading the Cal State-Northridge Matadors to a 72-63 victory over the
Montana Grizzlies in a non-league tilt from The Matadome.

Frazier finished the game a perfect 5-of-5 from the field and 5-of-6 from the
free-throw line. Ian Boylan and Thomas Shewmake each turned in 11 points for
the Matadors (2-2), while Davin White chipped in 10.

Brent Cummings paced the Grizzlies (3-2) in defeat with 14 points on 6-of-13
shooting from the field. Roy Booker added 13 points, while Kevin Criswell
pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.

The Grizzlies closed out the first half with a 9-1 run, taking 37-30 lead into
the break.

In the second stanza, the Matadors used a 21-10 run to come back for a nine-
point victory.

Cal State-Northridge hit on 46.5 percent of its total shots, while holding
Montana to just 39.3 percent shooting from the field.
