Cal State Northridge 80, UC Santa Barbara 71 Northridge, CA (Sports Network) - Ian Boylan scored 21 points and dished out
six assists in leading the CS-Northridge Matadors to an 80-71 victory over the
Cal-Santa Barbara Gauchos in Big West Conference action from The Matadome.

Eto Onyenegecha and Davin White had 16 points apiece for the Matadors (11-12,
7-8 BWC), while Terrell Jones had 13 points in a reserve role.

Nick Jones paced the Gauchos (13-10, 7-7) in defeat with 14 points and four
assists. Branduinn Fullove had 12 points in the losing effort, while Joe See
added 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the foul line.

CS-Northridge made just 30.8 percent of its field goal attempts in the first
half, but still held a 31-30 advantage at the break.

The Matadors made a blistering 88.9 percent of their three-pointers in the
second period and captured the nine-point victory.

CS-Northridge converted 11-of-21 shots from beyond the arc and 23-of-26 at the
foul line, while also winning the battle on the boards, 31-28.
