Idaho 66, Cal State Fullerton 56 Moscow, ID (Sports Network) - Tyrone Hayes poured in a game-high 18 points in
leading the Idaho Vandals to a 66-56 victory over the Cal State-Fullerton
Titans in Big West Conference action from the Cowan Spectrum.

Hayes finished the game 12-of-14 from the charity stripe, as Idaho (11-13, 7-7
BWC) won for the sixth time in its last seven outings. Dwayne Williams tallied
14 points, while Rashaad Powell added 12 points and seven boards in the
winning effort.

Pape Sow led the Titans (9-13, 5-8) with a double-double that consisted of 15
points and 10 boards. Bobby Brown also netted 15 points, while Anthony Bolton
turned in 14 points and seven boards in the losing cause.

Idaho closed out the first half with a 10-0 run, taking a 29-21 lead into the
break.

In the second stanza, the Vandals converted 19-of-27 free-throw attempts, as
they held on for the 10-point victory.

Idaho forced the Titans into 24 turnovers in the contest, while committing 12
just 12 miscues itself.
