Santa Barbara, CA (Sports Network) - Branduinn Fullove scored 17 points in
leading the UC-Santa Barbara Gauchos to a 73-57 victory over the Cal Poly-SLO
Mustangs in Big West Conference action from the Thunderdome.

Cameron Goettsche had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the
Gauchos (13-8, 7-5 BWC), while Cecil Brown added 10 points in a reserve role.

Varnie Dennis and Nick Enzweiler each tallied 14 points in the loss for Cal
Poly (8-12, 3-9). Shane Schilling chipped in with 12 points, eight rebounds
and five assists in the losing effort.

The Gauchos missed their only free throw in the first half and shot just 1-
of-6 from behind the arc, but still held a 35-24 advantage heading into the
locker rooms.

Cal Poly connected on just 25.0 percent of its three-pointers in the second
stanza and allowed the Gauchos to cruise to the 16-point victory.

UC-Santa Barbara shot 50.0 percent from the floor and won the battle on the
boards, 42-36, while also holding the Mustangs to just 33.9 percent shooting.
