- Took the Tigers to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments (2004-06) and four times overall (1997).
- Guided the TIgers to NCAA Tournament first round victories in 2004 (Providence) and 2005 (Pittsburgh).
- A five-time winner of the Big West Coach of the Year award (1993, 1997, 2004, 2005, 2006).
- Coached four Big West Players of the Year - Miah Davis (2004), David Doubley (2005) and Christian Maraker (2006) - and the 1998 NBA No. 1 draft pick, Michael Olowokandi, who was the league’s top player in 1997.
