#5 UC Santa Barbara Goes Back-to-Back, Wins 2011 ampm Big West Tournament Title

Orlando Johnson scored 23 points and Jaime Serna added 14 from the paint Saturday to lead defending champion UC Santa Barbara to a 64-56 victory over No. 1-seeded Long Beach State for the ampm Big West Conference Tournament championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.

Get Your Tickets To The 2011 ampm Big West Basketball Tournament

Single session tickets for the 2011 ampm Big West Basketball Tournament are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets through each school's athletic ticket office, the Honda Center Box Office or through the Ticketmaster link above. Honda Center Box Office hours are from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Student tickets can be purchased through each school’s individual box office or at Honda Center on the day of the game. Tickets for the Women's First Round hosted by campus sites will be $10 for general admission and $5 for Big West students.

When the competition moves to Honda Center, tickets will be $22 for general admission seats for the women’s tournament games and $10 for Big West students with a valid student I.D.

Tournament FAQ

Following are some answers to frequently asked questions regarding the 2011 ampm Big West Basketball Tournament at Honda Center.

What are the tournament dates?
The 2011 ampm Big West Basketball Tournament will begin on Tuesday, March 8 with the women’s first round on campus sites. The tournament continues at Honda Center on Thursday, March 10 with men’s quarterfinal action all day beginning at 12:00 pm. Semifinals for men and women are Friday, March 11 beginning at 12:00 pm for the women and 6:30 pm for the men. Championship Saturday will have the women’s game at 1:00 pm and the men’s game at 5:00 pm.

How much are tickets?
All-Session tickets are $64 for most of the seating area. There is a $144 All-Session ticket for courtside seats. Student tickets are for single sessions only and are $10 at Honda Center. Student tickets are $5 for women’s first round games on campus sites. There is no all-session student ticket.

Where are the courtside seats located?
The courtside seats are located in in the first four rows of sections 207-209 and 221-223.

Where can I find a seating chart?
The seating chart is part of the tournament ticket order form and can be downloaded from the link above.

Are All-Session tickets good for the women’s first round on campus sites?
Yes.

When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets will be mailed the week of February 21.

How can I be sure to get seats in my school’s fan section?
If a fan has indicated on the ticket order form they are rooting for a specific school, they will be assigned a seat in that school’s rooting section. School sections will be determined on Friday, February 18.

Will there be a shuttle run to the Honda Center?
The Anaheim Transportation Network offers a shuttle service to the Ayres Suites directly across the street from Honda Center. Fans would need to catch the shuttle at the Disneyland Resort Main Transportation Center and take Route 15 to the Ayres.
