Steve Chen enters his sixth year at the Big West Conference, overseeing the conference’s live video streaming, video exchange programs and various new media platforms.

His responsibilities include working in partnership with CBS College Sports Network to develop media content for the conference. He currently oversees video streaming for seven sports, including women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, baseball, and softball. He also provides technical support for the Big West’s video exchange initiative for women’s volleyball as well as men’s and women’s basketball as well as managing the Big West presence across new media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Prior to coming to the Big West, Chen worked at UC Irvine as an assistant coach and in various other capacities for the men’s basketball program from 2002 to 2006.

He and his wife, Kindra, live in Tustin with their daughter, Danica, and son, Colin.
