Heather Pierson enters her third season at the Big West and provides administrative support for the league's officiating and compliance programs. In addition, she assists the business, marketing and information departments.

Prior to working at the Big West Pierson was the curriculum coordinator for the after school program at St. John's Lutheran School in Orange. She also taught elementary school in Mesa, Ariz.

The Arizona native received her bachelor's in Elementary Education from Arizona State in 2001, and her master's in Special Education in 2004. She is currently in her final year at Whittier Law School.

Pierson resides in Orange.
