Chris Hargraves enters his second season as an assistant information director for the Big West Conference. His sports responsibilities include men's soccer, cross country, Track & Field and softball, while also assisting in media guide production and website maintenance.

Prior to his move to the Big West, he served as the Mid-Continent Conference media relations assistant for the 2005-06 school year.

Hargraves graduated from the University of Rochester (N.Y.) in May 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in religion. As an undergraduate student, he worked in the sports information department for four years covering 10 different sports. Hargraves served in a number of capacities during his tenure at the University of Rochester, including a stint as a media contact for the 2005 Division III Men's Basketball Final Four in Salem, Va.

He was also a member of the Yellow Jackets football team for four years. During that time, he amassed three varsity letters to go along with All-Rookie and All-UAA selections.

Hargraves resides in Tustin.
