UCI took the Black and Blue match, 8-5, over Long Beach State to go 5-0 in the Big West for the second year in a row Thursday night at Anteater Aquatics Complex.

With the completion of the regular-season slate, seeding for the 2012 Big West Women's Water Polo Tournament has been finalized. Regular-season champs UC Irvine will be the top seed, with host UC Davis claiming the second seed. UC Santa Barbara is the three seed, Cal State Northridge the four, Long Beach State the five and Pacific the six.
The 2012 Big West Women's Water Polo Tournament is set for April 27-29, 2012 at the Ted & Rand Schaal Aquatics Center on the campus of UC Davis. More information can be found here.
