Pacific Splits With St. Mary's To End The Libby Matson Tournament

Ending play at the 2012 Libby Matson Tournament, the Pacific softball team split a pair with Saint Mary's on Sunday, March 25.  The Gaels took game one of the doubleheader, 3-1, before the Tigers stormed back with a 7-0 shutout victory in game two.  The split moved the Tigers to 18-11 on the year while the Gaels moved to 11-6.

Cal Poly Softball Falls in Mustang Classic Finale against UNLV

Mustang softball freshman lefthander Chloe Wurst (above) tossed six and one-third innings without allowing a walk on Sunday afternoon, but UNLV swatted a pair of solo home runs at Bob Janssen Field as the Cal Poly softball team fell in the finale of the Mustang Classic against the Rebels, 4-1.

'Runners Post 2-1 Softball Win Over Aggies

Shay Fryer hit a home run and Marissa Hiller and Taylor DeSilva combined for a no-hitter on Sunday afternoon as the Cal State Bakersfield softball team posted a come-from-behind 2-1 nonconference win over UC Davis at La Rue Field.
