Long Beach State split its opening games of the annual Long Beach State Invitation, defeating Eastern Kentucky University 10-7 and losing to Oregon State 12-2 at Mayfair Park.
Long Beach State (8-16) will host the UCLA Bruins (15-6) March 9th scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Mayfair Park as they continue their play at the Long Beach Invitational.
