For the third time in four years, UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara are going to battle for the championship of the Big West Men's Soccer Tournament.  The top-seeded Anteaters moved into the finals thanks to a 2-0 win over UC Riverside, while the No. 2 seed Gauchos edged UC Davis 2-1 in semifinal action Wednesday.

UC Irvine wasted no time against UC Riverside taking an early lead and holding the Highlanders (9-6-4, 4-3-3) scoreless for a 2-0 win the Big West Tournament Semifinal punching its ticket to the Final.

UCSB Advances to Big West Championship with 2-1 Win Over UC Davis


Second-seeded UC Santa Barbara (14-5-1) has advanced to its fourth-consecutive Big West Tournament Championship game after defeating No. 3 seed UC Davis (7-8-4), 2-1, during a semifinal game on Wednesday night at Meredith Field at Harder Stadium.
