UC Davis scored early and often on its way to a 10-0 victory over Cal Poly in a Big West Conference softball game at Bob Janssen Field. The Aggies scored two runs in the first inning and had a seven-run fourth on their way to a series sweep of the Mustangs and their 7th straight victory. The win also kept UC Davis in first-place by one game heading into next week's final series of the regular season.

Matadors Win a Wild One Sunday at UC Riverside, 7-5

The Cal State Northridge softball team (29-21, 13-5 Big West) rallied for 7-5 victory over UC Riverside Sunday afternoon at Amy S. Harrison Field. Kristen Mihm hit a pinch-hit, leadoff solo home run in the top of the seventh to help the Matadors complete the sweep over the Highlanders and keep Northridge in the race for the Big West title.

Bring Out The Brooms, Pacific Sweeps UC Santa Barbara With Another Shutout

Playing on the road for the final time in 2010, the Tigers put the finishing touches on their first sweep of the season as they earned their third straight shutout of the weekend, 4-0, over UC Santa Barbara on Sunday, May 9. The win for the Tigers improved their overall record to 23-28 while pushing their conference record back to .500 at 9-9 while the Gauchos fell to 13-36 on the year and 4-14 in the Big West.
