Northridge Falls to Santa Clara, Defeats Saint Mary's at Matador Invitational

The Cal State Northridge softball team (7-11) split its final day at the Matador Invitational Sunday, falling 5-2 to Santa Clara before defeating Saint Mary's 4-1. Senior Lauren Olivas went 6-for-7 from the plate for the day and Amanda Pitzenberger tossed a complete game, five-hitter to defeat the Gaels.

Softball Drops Two Games To Conclude aTen Construction Tournament

The UC Riverside softball team dropped a pair of games on Sunday afternoon to conclude the aTen Construction Tournament at Amy S. Harrison Field. The Highlanders (6-12) lost 10-0 to Notre Dame in five innings, and couldn't quite pull off the comeback in game two as they lost to East Tennessee State 5-2.
