With a huge grand slam by senior Kellee Wilson (Tracy, Calif.) in the bottom of the third, the Pacific softball team upset No. 21 Tennessee to open the Cathedral City Classic on Thursday, February 25. The win moved the Tigers to 3-4 on the year while the Lady Vols fell to 6-3.

Early and Late Runs Down Pacific Against No. 9 Oklahoma, 9-0 (6 inn.)

Playing their second top-25 ranked opponent of the day, the Pacific softball team could not keep the upset special running at the Cathedral City Classic on Thursday, February 25 as they fell 9-0 in six innings to No. 9 Oklahoma. The loss dropped the Tigers to 3-5 on the year and 1-1 at the tournament while the Sooners improved to 10-1 on the year and 2-0 at the tournament.

Gauchos' Offensive Woes Continue, Drop Pair on Gaucho Classic Opening Day

It is a new week for the UC Santa Barbara softball team, but unfortunately last week's offensive struggles have carried over as Santa Barbara dropped its first two games at the Gaucho Classic on Thursday at Campus Diamond. The Gauchos (4-9) fell to Drexel (2-4) by way of 4-2 score before being shutout by North Dakota State (7-5), 2-0, in the second game of their doubleheader.
