UC Irvine senior Irving Garcia parlayed a stellar senior season into postseason honors as his name has appeared on several All-America lists.
Garcia, the 2009 Big West Offensive Player of the Year, was named first team
topdrawersoccer.com and Soccer America, a second team All-America honoree by
College Soccer News and garnered third team status on the NSCAA/Performance Subaru ledger.
The native of San Luis, Ariz., led the Big West in points (25), tied for the top spot in assists (9) and ranked third in goals (8) during his final campaign as an Anteater, leading the club to a 15-7-0 record and a Big West Tournament championship.
