Cal State Fullerton volleyball team won its 18th game of the season and tied the school record for wins in a season as it defeated UNLV in a five-set non-conference match Saturday night at the Walter Pyramid on the campus of Long Beach State.

Washington Tops 1,000 Career Kills In Senior Night Victory

Naomi Washington topped 1,000 career kills on Senior Night and that effort helped carry Long Beach State past Utah 25-18, 22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-13. The senior outside hitter also added a career-high three solo blocks in her final regular season match in the Walter Pyramid while hitting .425 for the match.

UC Irvine Loses To TCU

UC Irvine was unable to come back from a 0-2 deficit as the Anteaters fell to TCU, 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23) Saturday at the Pyramid to conclude the regular season. The non-conference loss dropped UCI to 22-8 overall while the Horned Frogs climbed to 26-6 on the season.
