UCSB's Brooker Claims Final Weekly Honor of '09 10/28/2009

The final weekly honor of the 2009 season went to a Gaucho as UC Santa Barbara's Cassie Brooker claimed her first career weekly honor.

Brooker, a sophomore from Camarillo, Calif., put forth an outstanding effort at the Fullerton Invitational last weekend. She was UCSB's top finisher with a fourth place effort in 18:09. Brooker was also the top finisher among all Big West athletes in the 5K race.
