UCSB Rallies to Knock Off No. 19 UC Irvine in Five

UC Santa Barbara's Rebecca Saraceno posted 28 kills and 13 digs in the Gauchos' 3-2 win over league-leading UC Irvine Friday.

Reigning Big West Player of the Week Rebecca Saraceno had 28 kills, one shy of her career-high, while tallying 13 digs for her 13th double-double this season to lead the Gauchos to a 14-25, 25-22, 17-25, 25-22, 19-17 victory over No. 19 UC Irvine on Friday night.

UCR Volleyball Earns First Big West Win With 3-2 Battle Over Mustangs

Led by double-digit kills from seniors Dominique Cowling and Tonbara Youpele the UC Riverside volleyball team won their their first Big West Conference match of the season in a hard-fought 3-2 battle, 25-12, 20-25, 26-24, 22-25 and 15-12, over visiting Cal Poly on Friday evening at the Student Recreation Center. UCR's record improves to 3-15, 1-7 while the Mustangs drop to 6-16, 2-7.
