UC Irvine's Jane Chin Earns First Team All-American Honors

UC Irvine senior Jane Chin was named Duramed National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) First Team All-American at the annual Awards Banquet.

Chin becomes the second Anteater to gain NGCA All-American honors and the first to earn first team distinction. She joins Walailak Satarak who was named honorable mention in 2002. The Huntington Beach, Calif., native was also awarded NGCA All-West Region distinction.

Chin ended her UCI career with a 16th place finish at the 2009 NCAA Women's Golf Championship, the highest finish ever for an Anteater player at the championships. She carded a one-over 73 on the final round and ended with a total of 298 (75-75-75-73) over four days of competition.
