The 2009 NCAA Men's and Women's Tennis Championships get underway on Friday, May 8 with opening-round action for the UC Santa Barbara men. The Long Beach State women begin postseason play on Saturday, May 9. Follow all the action with LIVE scoring and video available free of charge from each of the host sites.
The UC Santa Barbara men claimed their fourth-straight title and will face host institution USC for the second time in three years in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Championships. Should the Gauchos prevail, they will face the winner of the Minnesota/New Mexico State match on Saturday, May 10. The Gauchos and Trojans will see their first serves at 5:00 pm PT in Los Angeles.

Long Beach State won their sixth consecutive Big West Conference title on April 19 to earn an automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA Women's Tennis Championships. The 49ers will face LSU in a first-round matchup at host institution Stanford in Palo Alto, CA. With a win, Long Beach State will face the winner of the Wichita State/Stanford match on Sunday, May 10. The 49ers and Tigers will open NCAA play at 9:00 am PT Saturday.
